1) How I started was I brainstormed ideas for what the objective of my game should be and then I started putting together the basics of how the game should function and what instructions I should give to the sprites to make my game work correctly.
2) I had a lot of problems during this final project. It was very challenging and sometimes frustrating, but what I did was I tried different sequences of blocks on different sprites' scripts and also completely different blocks.
3) I tested the game by actually playing the game myself, asking myself while I was playing if it followed the rubric and at the same time accomplished what I wanted to do in the game. After many many times of testing it out, I finally got a yes to that answer and everything was working out exactly the way I wanted it to.

Purpose of my Game
The purpose of my game is for the dragon to spray fire at all the butterflies once it touches them. Each level will add new types of butterflies that are harder to catch and some that you don't want to touch because you'll lose points. Each time the dragon sprays a butterfly it earns one point. As the level moves on to the next, the butterflies can be worth 2 points as well!

Debug it (week 2) Reflection
1.) One strategy that I used was trying different blocks and different sequences of the blocks until it worked.

Interactions try it Reflection
1.) The puzzles I worked on were #1: Whenever you press the B key, the sprite gets a little bigger. Whenever you press the S key, the sprite gets a little smaller.Except for that one I made the dog get a little bigger every time the B key is pressed. I also did #5: Whenever two sprites collide, one of them says: "Excuse me." and lastly, I did puzzle #6 Whenever the cat sprite gets near the dog sprite, the dog turns and runs from the cat. Except for this one I made the dog float above the cat until it wasn't touching it anymore and it began the cycle again.

Conversations Reflection
1.) I would describe broadcast to someone else like instructions given to do a certain motion or sound etc. after the program goes through the main script. You define the broadcast script and then the main script follows your given instructions. Mostly used to make sure the instructions happen organized in time.

De-bug It Reflection
1.) One of the Debug-It strategies I used was when the Scratch cat would dance, but Gobo wouldn't, I added a "when flag clicked to Gobo" script.
2.)I don't really know how I would help someone else Debug a project because I'm just learning how to use Scratch myself. So I wold suggest just to play around with all the different blocks until something works.

10 Block Challenge Reflection
1.) This activity helps me learn how to use scratch because it is the basics of the program and allows me to learn the easy stuff first in order to be able to build on top of that. It also helps me learn how to navigate. I'm learning to remember which actions are under which categories.
2.) The 10 block restraint impacts ideas because it doesn't give me a lot of freedom to do what I want and be creative. It only limits you to 10 blocks that you're allowed to use and I imagine I could have a lot more creative ideas if I was able to use more than the 10 blocks.

Scratch Reflection
1.) Something surprising about the activity was how you could animate the character.
2.) It was pretty could with directions and instructions on how to do things step-by-step. It wasn't confusing and the explanations were very simple and clear.
3.) As a learner, I like having more structure in the beginning because it's new software and material that I'm not very familiar how to use. I like having more freedom when I'm comfortable being on the site and after I've learned how to explore on my own. I feel more most creative when given freedom because I can do more things that are personal to what I like opposed to some of the structured activities.

#1 Celtics Fan
I am the #1 Celtics fan in the world!!! I go to Celtics Camp every year at their Training Facility located in Waltham! I know everything about the Boston Celtics and I support them through everything. But it isn't just me. Boston Fans are known as the best fans in the world and I believe that. Through the ups and the downs we stick with our athletes, with the ones who have done so much for our community. When people say you don't understand unless you're from Boston we're aren't kidding. Paul Pierce, 15 years a Celtic, was traded this year to the Brooklyn Nets. He was speechless when he heard the news, but he knew that no one could ever change the past. He made History and he will forever be a Celtic. Kevin Garnett, who was also traded with Paul, felt the same way. A quote from the interview when they were traded to Brooklyn is "People always say players can be too loyal, but I don't believe that. A city like Boston is worth it. I think we will always bleed green, as long as we're playing basketball. As long as we're living, even when they bury us six feet it's what it's gonna be." -Kevin Garnett. This team means so much to me and the city of Boston and I will always bleed green for the rest of my life just like Kevin Garnett said.

The changes I made to this website are the title, the picture, the Read link and the 2 paragraphs.
The changes I made to NBA.com were I changed the Miami score to 10, I changed 2 titles to 'Rondo traded to LA Lakers', 'Miami only scores 10 points in the game!' and I changed the NBA link to WNBA when you click on the NBA logo.
The changes I made to edline.net were I changed my name to Mary Beth Marcucella, I changed the main picture, the main caption under the picture, the school name to Woburn High School and the picture in the top left hand corner to a different Reading Rockets symbol.
