Webmaker Experience

At first, it was very confusing to understand the directions, but once I got the handle of it, it was a lot simpler. The pictures were the hardest part to insert and I had some difficulty with that. But overall, I enjoyed doing these activities. They were creative and fun to create.

Web Page

A type of web page that I like to read most is basketball! I love reading more and more about my passion to grow even more knowledgeable about it than I am now. In fact I am in interested in making a basketball web page.

Excel

My experience with Excel actually went very well. It was very enjoyable learning about it. At times it was difficult, but the tutorials made it easier. It was simple and fun to change the designs of tables and make charts!

Is Eliza Human?

Programming Eliza was very hard. Computers are very picky so it was difficult to make her say a response that you were looking for. Through this program I learned that Eliza does not pick up feelings very well. For example, if she asks "How are you today?" and you say "I'm good" she will reply that's good. But if you reply "I'm terrible", she will still reply "That's good.". Also, Eliza is very sensitive to capitalization and punctuation. The actual course was very confusing and frustrating. It kept saying invalid, but never told me how to fix it. Also, there weren't really any directions so it was unclear on what I was suppose to do. Whenever I tried to enter in my code, I never knew if I got it wrong or right because I never knew what to do. In conclusion, it was very hard trying to program Eliza because the course was very unclear and computers in general are very sensitive and picky.

3 programming sites

For the anger birds and plants vs zombies I was very good at it and found it very easy. There were only a few that were hard. One was the if path ahead turn right. Although it was easy for me, I would not like to further study this. The next program I did was Lightbot was also very easy. I liked Lightbot better than the previous program. It was more fun and simple. The last program I explored was Create a Holiday card. This was my least favorite because it was the most complicated and hard. Creating a card should be more simple than what the program had me doing. There were actions that you could do and all these different options. It got a little bit easier as I kept doing it, but it still wasn't very fun.
